LONDON TAXI - ERTL - 1:43 SCALE - Slightly modified

Description

The car originally came with shiny chrome wheels, whitewall tires and a beige interior.  It's a great little model but a London taxi driver would not be seen with chrome wheels and whitewalls - the easy fix was to disassemble the car, paint our the wheels and whitewalls, and spray the interior pieces with a dark red to simulate the leather seats.  This transforms the car from a toylike appearance to that of a scale model. Compare the pictures with the last original-condition photo.  The box is included.
This would something a little different for a diecast car collection, or if you're an O-scale model railroader it could be parked by a station or a fancy hotel!
