These heavy 90-degree parallel clamps are the perfect clamping solution for the professional, serious hobbyist or DIYer. They are ideal for gluing panels, casework, boxes and frame and panel doors or any other project that requires clamping pressure perpendicular to the rail. These clamps will keep glue-ups square and prevent parts from bowing. They feature large steel reinforced nylon jaws that provide powerful and rigid clamping pressure. The large 3-3/4 inch x 2 inch jaws distribute clamping forces evenly. The moveable jaws easily disengage and slide along the rail as soon as pressure is released and the handle is lifted. Thge clamping head can be locked tight by sliding to the desired position, lowering the handle and applying pressure. The movable jaw locks on the hourglass profile beam via several hardened clutch plates. The 1-1/8 inch x 3/8 inch C45 carbon steel rail resists flexing and torsional forces. The moveable jaw features a smooth-turning carbon steel Acme screw that produces maximal clamping pressure with less effort. Both the steel rail and screw are nickel plated to prevent corrosion. The oversized ergonomic soft grip two part Plastic/TPR handle optimizes torque and reduces hand fatigue. The removable clamp stand allows clamps to stand upright on their own for one-handed operation and allows effortless clamp adjustment. The clamp stand be quickly removed and the moveable head can be reversed and used as a spreader.
